Terms of Service
Effective: March 22, 2026 · Last updated: March 22, 2026
1. What This Agreement Covers
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and SweetSuiteMusic, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). They govern your use of the Sweet Suite Music desktop application for macOS, the Sweet Suite Camera companion app for iOS, the website at sweetsuitemusic.com, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, downloading the software, or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use paid features. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
One person or legal entity per account. Don't share accounts. If we detect abuse, we may suspend or terminate the account.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
Sweet Suite Music offers Free, Solo, Band, and Producer subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Any price change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle, not mid-cycle.
You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
4. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
All paid plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason within 30 days of your first payment, contact us at hello@sweetsuitemusic.com and we'll issue a full refund. No questions asked.
After the 30-day window, refunds are issued at our discretion. We don't offer partial-month refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
5. What You Can Do (Acceptable Use)
- Use the Service to record, edit, and publish your own music and video content.
- Install the software on devices you own or control, within your plan's license limit.
- Share your exported videos anywhere you like — you own your content.
6. What You Can't Do
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software or your account access.
- Use the Service for anything illegal or to infringe others' rights.
- Attempt to circumvent license limits, usage restrictions, or security measures.
- Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service.
7. Your Content
You own everything you create. Your recordings, videos, edits, designs, and exports belong to you. We don't claim any rights to your content. We don't use your content for training, marketing, or any other purpose without your explicit permission.
Your content is stored locally on your Mac. We don't upload, access, or store your recordings on our servers.
8. Our Software
The Sweet Suite Music software, website, branding, and all related intellectual property belong to SweetSuiteMusic, LLC. Your subscription gives you a license to use the software — it doesn't transfer ownership.
The software uses FFmpeg for audio and video processing. FFmpeg is licensed under the LGPL and is called as an external process. Its source code is available at ffmpeg.org.
9. Availability & Changes
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We won't remove core functionality you're paying for without offering an alternative or a refund.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SweetSuiteMusic, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We don't guarantee that the software will be error-free, that recordings won't be lost due to hardware or software issues, or that third-party integrations (Logic Pro, social media platforms) will always work as expected.
12. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. On termination, your license to use the software ends. Your locally stored content remains yours.
13. Dispute Resolution
If we have a dispute, let's try to work it out first. Email us at hello@sweetsuitemusic.com. If we can't resolve it informally within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
